This event took place at the Contemporary Art Museum in St. Louis. An infusion of Indian Traditional flair was combined with some very out of the box modern elements. The photos show lots of the great details of the day.
As guests’ entered into the room they were met with a beautiful black and white damask drape to set the tone for the decor.
The entire event was in a cocktail lounge format with only a few sit down tables. But of the few sit down tables provided this was the table of honor. A square was made out of the tables and instead of traditional centerpieces we designed and created enormous bare branch trees to be the focus in the middle of the table. These trees were adorned with crystal strands and candles for that romantic flair. We installed an entire wall of candles to shimmer behind the table.
Our mirror bars worked perfectly in this space as the entire room was reflected in the glass.
A tent was installed in the courtyard of the museum for additional seating. This tent leaned toward the Indian decor elements with colorful fabric, Moroccan lanterns, and henna patterned lighting.
The backdrop to one lounge was hand braided red string curtain.
In keeping with the use of bare trees we also created a tree in the center table of the lounge area and filled it with candles and crystals. What a great talking piece for the lounge!
