The Gifted Wedding at The Charles F Knight Center

The Gifted Wedding is an amazing organization that takes deserving couples that may not have access to their dream wedding and are deserving of a special day donated by a team of wedding professionals. We were asked to participate in this lovely day and provice lighting design for the most recent deserving couple Eric and Kelly Patterson.

We provided a rich pink lighting hue with an overlay of roses in light on the walls. Each centerpiece was pin spotted with a direct focus of white light. And each guest table was lit from underneath to create a glow not only on the wall but from the tables as well! See the before and after photos below. It was an awesome day! The Charles F Knight Center was gracious and just a hidden treasure. They have an enormous outdoor courtyard for ceremonies or outdoor functions and a great indoor space right off the outside courtyard. Click on the link below to look at what they have to offer!

Corporate Convention at the Renaissance Grand

We enjoyed working with Destination St Louis as they produced this corporate event. The event took place at the Renaissance Grand Hotel. The before photo is from the Hotel Website, the afters are during this really exciting meeting. Make your meetings exciting!

Charity Gala – Columbia, MO

We were honored to be a part of a great charity event in Columbia, MO. The theme was Wizard of Oz and we created the Emerald City! This was the perfect event for our light-up furniture. The stage presentation was flanked by our light-up columns. The tables were adorned with our light-up ghost candelabras. And drinks were served from our light-up bars. Everything was lit in green, including the perimeter of the room. It truly glowed!

Winter is Gala Season

The Fall, Winter and early Spring are filled with fun and exciting themed Galas. We are so happy when Gala’s spend a little effort in making this event exciting for their donors. This Gala produced by Synergy had an urban Tiki Theme. We supplied the lounges the brick backdrops and hand carved the Tiki Gods from a blank slate. It was fantastic to work on this event for Synergy but hopefully the guests enjoyed it as well!

2012 ISES Louie Awards

The 13th Annual ISES Louie Awards were held at the Ameristar Casino and Hotel. Below is the cocktail hour we lit up in multicolors to get the guest feeling happy and good before the show started!

This is our stage set we created for the show itself. We designed and built the doors that were leaning inwards in all directions. It was a little scary for those on stage but “TRUST US!” we are professionals and had fun showing off our design and technical skills just a bit.Company owners, Erin & Bryan Schulte, accepting the awards we were so honored to receive!

Gala at Sheldon Concert Hall

This was an exciting gala we were fortunate to be a part of. During the first cocktail party of the evening we were enlisted to provide decor for their theme of the year “Night on Broadway” We decided to take decor just a step further and incorporate our love and background in theater in the actual decor. We used performers as the decor! We created three mini black box theaters inside the cocktail hour that were themed to Chicago, Gypsy, and Wicked. Our performers were amazing and really knocked the decor experience out of the park as guests were literally standing in a live performance during cocktails. Phantom greeted guests right at valet and ushered them inside.

Union Station Grand Hall

Surprise!!! What fun this was! Our fellow wedding professionals and friends Jaci Burgess from the Coronado Ballroom and Jon Spindler from Downtime Productions got married! And it was all an orchestrated surprise for the family and friends. We were of course let in on the secret early on as they were so kind to allow us to provide their ceremony decor and lighting design. Boy that was both a difficult but special secret to keep. Now that the cat’s out of the bag We provided lighting design and worked alongside other wonderful event professionals including The Special Event Florist, Downtime Productions and Donnell Probst Photography, Dishy Events.

Ceremony BEFORE in the Gothic Corridor. We provided the draping, lighting, candles , purple runner, and Chuppah.

Kemp Auto Museum

This Gala was a GLOW! An exciting gala took place at The Kemp Auto Museum and was produced by Contemporary Productions. The them was Glow and everything possible was set to light! From our light up bars to our lounge area design and accents the room was illuminated!

Once our lighting hit it, it came to life!

Last week, we had the pleasure of working with a great team on this shoot. Yara, of Bridal Horizons, styled the shoot. Rich West provided the amazing floral arrangements. And Raquita Henderson photographed it for Delux Magazine.
